Car Seat Inspection

All children under 8 must be buckled into a federally-approved child restraint system when riding in a car.

You can get a free car seat inspection by a certified car seat technician at one of the Department of Transportation's (DOT) Safety City locations or at a special event.

Appointments are required for car seat inspections at Safety City locations but not at the special car seat events.
